Read "Shakedown" by Ezra Levant. An excellent review of the incredible, almost unbelieveable abuse of civil rights of Canadians by the so called "Human Rights Commissions/Tribunals" across this country. This is a must-read - one of the most important books to come out and shake people up about how their constitutional freedoms and civil rights are being quietly trampled on by political appointees and ignorant fools in these commissions. They should be disbanded and our rights more properly protected in the real courts. It's a wonder that these dreadful commission decisions have not been challenged in the courts and that the commission appointees not charged themselves. The politicians must address these abuses and do something about these "human rights" commissions that have exceeded their original mandate and grossly abused their positions.

We speak for those groups supposedly invulnerable to slander...not because we believe in censorship and wish to silence our critics. Just the opposite. Because we believe in the most uncompromising freedom of expression. So we're going to say some things that need to be said."

Theocratic Threats are Endemic

Here is a timely quote of 28 years ago from the Information Clearing House Newsletter of Jan 2, 2009:
"There is no position on which people are so immovable as their religious beliefs. There is no more powerful ally one can claim in a debate than Jesus Christ, or God, or Allah, or whatever one calls this supreme being. But like any powerful weapon, the use of God's name on one's behalf should be used sparingly. The religious factions that are growing throughout our land are not using their religious clout with wisdom. They are trying to force government leaders into following their position 100 percent. If you disagree with these religious groups on a particular moral issue, they complain, they threaten you with a loss of money or votes or both.
